Only one application per calendar year, for one eligible sport, may be submitted
Children/youth ages 18 and under are eligible for a grant
Maximum grant provided is $300 per child, per year
Camps, equipment, travel, fundraising, championships, etc. are not eligible expenses
Activities must be tied to a "sport organization" recognized by Sport BC
Preference is given to athletes who are being introduced to organized sport

The West Kelowna JumpstartTM chapter assists in removing financial barriers that hinder participation in sports and recreational activities.
Grants are provided to families that meet Jumpstart's assistance criteria, which recommend using Revenue Canada’s Low Income Cut Offs (LICOs) as the guidepost for determining need. LICOs take into account family and community sizes and family units' before tax incomes:
