APPOINTMENTS TO THE ADVISORY PLANNING COMMISSION
The District of West Kelowna is now accepting applications to fill five to seven at-large positions on the Advisory Planning Commission (APC) for a three year term to end December 31, 2015.
The purpose of the Commission is to advise Council on matters respecting land use, community planning, or proposed bylaws and certain permits under Divisions 2, 7, and 9 of Part 26 of the Local Government Act. The committee’s mandate, criteria, and meeting procedures can be found in Bylaw No. 0098 – a Bylaw to Authorize the Establishment of an Advisory Planning Commission, which is posted here, or which can be picked up at Municipal Hall, at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, BC.
Citizens who are interested in volunteering their time to sit on the committee are invited to submit an application form to the Corporate Services Division.
