Bylaws

The following Bylaws relate directly to Engineering Services. Please note that some bylaws may also apply to other departments.

The following bylaws were inherited from the Regional District of Central Okanagan at the time of District of West Kelowna incorporation on December 7, 2007.

These bylaws are under review:

• Bylaw No. 1108 Water Systems

DEVELOPMENT COST CHARGES

On August 05, 2008 Council approved its Development Cost Charges Policy.

The following is a list of Development Cost Charges Bylaws:

• Parks DCC Bylaw No. 0097 Schedule A
• Roads DCC Bylaw No. 0018 Schedule A

The District of West Kelowna collects, on behalf of the Regional District of Central Okanagan, the following DCCs:

• Waste Water Treatment Plant Bylaw No. 1282
• East Truck Sewer Bylaw No. 1068

FEES AND CHARGES

District of West Kelowna Council has adopted a bylaw approving fees and charges for services and information, provided by various municipal departments (Schedules 3 and 4 apply specifically to the Engineering Department):
