The District of West Kelowna's Bylaw Enforcement Department is responsible for ensuring the enactments of Council are being followed in the interest of:

Protecting the environment;

Upholding high standards of public health;

Keeping the peace; and,

Maintaining order throughout the municipality.
WHEN ARE BYLAWS ENFORCED?
Generally, bylaw enforcement is complaint based.
Complaints may be made over the phone, in person, by letter or email.
In order to process a complaint, the name and phone number of the complainant must be included. This information will be used to process the complaint and keep the complainant updated on the status of the file. The personal information is collected under the authority of the Local Government Act/Community Charter, and is subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
