The District of West Kelowna's Administration Department provides a wide range of programs and services, ensuring well-established connections between Council and its constituents, residents and the District's programs and services and the Municipality and its staff.

City Clerk's Office
The City Clerk's Office is responsible for providing support services to the District of West Kelowna Council and presenting Council meetings and official functions to the public in a professional manner.

Corporate Communications
Corporate Communications serves as an information conduit between Council and the public, articulating Council's Strategic Priorities and Operational Plan and how that translates into programs, services and infrastructure programs throughout each year.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating postings to the District's website
- Creating newsletters
- Publishing news releases, public notices and service announcements and media advisories
- Developing the Annual Report
- Directing inquiries from media and the public
- Researching and coordinating grant funding opportunities

Human Resources
Human Resources recruits and retains top notch staff and fosters employee health and safety, ensuring the well being of those who serve West Kelowna with pride.
Responsibilities include:

- Coordinating labour relations
- Administering collective agreements
- Managing compensation and benefit programs
- Maintaining open communications with staff
- Fostering positive workplace relationships
- Coordinates staff development and training

Recreation and Culture
Recreation and Culture is dedicated to creating and delivering services that encourage healthy living for the benefit of West Kelowna residents of all ages.
Through a service agreement with the Westbank First Nation, the District is also pleased to be able to extend these opportunities to those living on WFN lands.
The department publishes an annual Leisure Guide and an online registration service for recreational programs and the Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre.
