As both a lakeside and a mountainside community, the District of West Kelowna has a variety of parks to choose from, offering a multitude of recreational choices, including hiking, picnicking, swimming, tennis and volleyball. The municipality offers numerous parks with children's playgrounds and dog-friendly spaces.
The District of West Kelowna's Parks, Fleet and Cemetery Department is responsible for operations and maintenance of these parks. The municipality's Recreation and Culture Department is responsible for running programs in parks and managing the booking of sports and recreational facilities.
